I think that's part of it. People RV differently. Some, like you, are traveling from one place to another. Others, like full-timers, are basically living in one place for X amount of time. Others, like me, are traditional campers and are staying at a traditional campground and hiking, etc., around the area. Each one has different needs and wants. Finding the type of campground, RV Park, free parking that fits your style will eliminate most of the cost complaints you might have.
