I will say that I have a different experience. I have one camp ground near where I stay every week. I started out in the coach there and driving over to work. This was last fall but the rate was 60 bucks plus tax and then the cost of driving up and back and food. Now I stay at a mariott town place for 73 dollars total a night and get a free breakfast and I drive my truck or jeep up and get 17-21 mpg instead of 8. The trip is 300 miles round trip so fuel and wear and tear and food and just plan ease of going means I am staying in the hotel now. I have 63 nights so far this year alone. Oh and I am building up points to use and I am at 20 free nights at the level one or a few less at a resort somewhere and that is what I will probably use them for.
