Actually. We do camp to be able to go places. In the TT, a weekend in the mountains is $70.00. In a motel a weekend in the mountains is $300.00. A week at the beach (8) nights. in the TT. $680.00. A week at the beach (7) nights in a condo will be $3750.00.
Were it not for the camper. there are few places we could afford to go. There would not be any weekend mountain trips.
As for the TV. Well I will have a truck, camper or not.
Also Say I gave 18,000 or so for my TT. IF I am able to stay in a CG for $2600.00 less a week, and $270.00 less for a weekend. It only takes 5 or 6 beach trips, and the camper has paid for itself.
Like as not. For us, Camping is less than condoing
