bid_time,
"Sometimes I just got to shake my head."
You should shake your head as there's so many ways to avoid paying for RV etc storage at all! You, as in the RV owner, are the one who controls the possibility of needing a pay storage scenario or not by the decisions you make/made. Make the wrong decisions and you are captive to paying each and every year going forward until you finally wise up to the ripoff.
Why is it that RV'ers complain so often about paying $30 a day for an RV site use having electric, water, and maybe even sewer and other ammenities for their unlimited use while there but at the same time are willing to pay $50 ($600 a year) or so much more just for letting their unused RV sit empty on someones piece of land about the size of the RV's footprint and put up with it year after year. Money thrown down the drain!
My post was to bring to light the fact that there are other options that will save thousands of dollars over the life of the RV or boat etc ownership and not even have to haul it anywhere to "store" it. I had only touched on one of the many ways that are very possible. Some people care and some don't and so be it!
The OP's thread says/asks: "Cost of storing your RV" and that's what I had addressed!
