$700 per year, if you pay for the year up front ($58.34/month), saving about $6.66/month. It's a "contractor" storage area directly next to the railroad tracks, but the RV and boat area is separate with their own gate. Gravel parking lot. Some spots are level, some aren't. No trees. Eight foot barbed-wire topped fence. One security camera, at the gate/entry key pad. There's a chick living there in her RV, so I guess she's kinda like a night watchman.
It's the most reasonably priced place I could find and it's 10 minutes from our S&B. Around here, finding a spot at all can be a shoot of the dice. Particularly, if you start looking in December (when we took delivery of our TC). We were lucky. I was at the right place at the right time when I secured our spot for the year. Now, there's a waiting list. Recently, a friend with 3 acres and no trees offered to let me keep our truck camper on the grass in his back yard. I think I'll take him up on the offer. We live in the woods on a lake, and there's simply no place to put it when it's off the truck. Remote storage is our only option. The house goes on the market next April, so we can get a place with more space. Working on the stupid house, getting it ready to sell, is cutting into my camping time this Summer. I guess one way or another, you're gonna pay. I can't wait to see what my friend's free spot costs me.
