I would wager a hefty sum the service station made more profit off of those 6 passengers and their breakfast sandwiches than they made off your 75 gallons of fuel. A quick search of on the internet shows that Gas stations net around 3 cents per gallon of fuel. Therefore they made $2.25 off your purchase. Food costs generally run 25 percent of the retail price on those foodstuffs, so if each breakfast sandwich cost $2.00 the store made $9.00 on those six sandwiches. That makes that car 4 times more valuable than your RV, and they only take up one pump.
