The relationship a car dealer has with the manufacturer is very different from the one an RV dealer has with the manufacturer.

I totally agree with this statement. The lawyers will "line their pockets", the RV manufacturers will re-word their warranty policies and ALL costs will be passed onto the (RV) consumer in the form of higher prices.
It's a shame that these RV manufactures have let this issue get to this point, it seems to be more about the "bottom line" than consumer satisfaction.

Disclaimer: My wife works for a pretty good size law firm.
If you had any idea what kind of money law firms put up out of their own pockets for these cases your head would spin.
Her firm lost something like $250,000 in expenses on a class action they didn't win.

This year the axles under my TT were replaced under an extended warranty. The axles are Dexter's responsibility, not Forest River.
