We installed hooks and small bungies across the cabinets. We found plastic containers that fit exactly into the fridge shelves, and they stay in right in place, they are short enough to get out the 'stuff' but tall enough so nothing fall out. Cosco, BJ's, or a large market will have a variety of sizes, you can cut them down shorter if you need it. We found the right size, too some searching.
Firewood -- extra scrap lumber works well, also the 'fire-logs' you can buy at any market -- they last quite a while. Not cheap, but as stated above --- cost of a fire is relative to its enjoyment. Hauling firewood is always a hassle, unless you have a dedicated area ... and you need to watch for 'bugs'...
