Jul 21, 2014Once I realise that a campground water system is relatively low pressure, I remove my restrictor.
As far as stuff moving in the cupboards/cabinets, one of the first thing my wife does when we stop is take a minute one set things straight. After many years of RVing with different rv's and trying all kinds of things, the simplest is fix it when we stop.
We've had pretty good luck with campground washers & dryers so we just keep using them. Haven't much choice since we're in our rv about 6-8 months a year.
For firewood, I rarely buy campground wood. If we are at a destination for some time, I'll seek out a cheaper source. Not much you can do unless you want a fake propane fire.
