Pool noodles cut into chunks also work great to keep things from rattling over on the fridge door or in cabinets. easy to throw into a cabinet during the trip as you change/add to fridge contents.
I like that idea. However, we had drawers come open, dishes breaking and even had the refrigerator come open and door fall off. If I had put a quart container full of cream in there and drove for an hour it would have churned to butter, if the container had not broken or popped open.
So when we got tired of emptying the fridge into a cooler every time we moved down the road, we sold our rear kitchen floor plan 5ver and bought a front of wheels kitchen floor plan 5ver. That solved most of that problem. DW is not blaming me anymore for hitting all the potholes in the road.
