My youngest daughter's CR-V (first generation, which was lighter with a smaller engine) is past 280,000 miles on the original automatic transmission. Honda for many years used essentially the same 4-speed OD on all model lines, and it was not troublesome in lighter vehicles with less powerful engines. I would not worry about transmission life for a CR-V of that era, unless you mess it up not following towing procedures and restrictions.
Honda's reputation for transmission troubles comes from the heavier vehicles and the most powerful Acura models.
My older daughter, driving 2nd and 3rd generation Odyssey minivans went through two transmissions on the first one, traded it at 180,000 miles on moderate mileage 3rd gen Odyssey, replacing the transmission just past 120,000 miles and trading it in about 30,000 miles later. New one has a different transmission.
