One more thing, I see people bending over backwards to accommodate religions such as Islam, that's nice. Why can't we accommodate the Biblical beliefs of Christianity too? Aren't we a country that was founded on religious freedom?
Like I said in the disappeared thread... Freedom of speech is protection from government limiting your speech. This isn't a case of government limiting speech. This is a private company (A&E) penalizing an employee (Phil Robertson) for speaking his mind. First amendment has NOTHING to do with this argument.
That being said, I agree with your second paragraph.
