I knew I liked dodge guy for other reasons than he drives a Dodge. In total agreement. It is the minority that is not afraid to say what they think and that is a big reason that this country is going to pot. I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long.

Cracker Barrel caved under pressure from A&E and then got their hat handed to them by their clientele. THEN they did the right thing.

He was free to, and did speak, there can be consequences from that speech however as there can be with all of us. Unreality TV has little to do with real life and an individual who plays a hick, with a masters degree, is about as unreal as it gets.
He may well not know that he knows LGBT folks, lack of familiarity breads contempt, and as the Pope said "who am I to judge". It is not our job, the Bible is very explicit concerning that.

It's not about one's "ignorance", it's about freedom of speech. It's about things being pushed down our throat by a small groups of people. It's good to see a big company stand up for what's right and not fold under. Way to go Cracker Barrel !!!
