That type of behavior is very annoying to me and in fact the trucker could be cited for inciting road rage or some such related crime.
Studies have proven and experts recommend that all lanes are utilized at a reasonable speed up until the lane closure. The cause of the accident wasn't the use of the closing lane, the accident was caused by excessive speed and failure to assure clear stopping distance.
