I always wonderd why there was not a flagperson at the merge point. Then I realized that I myself would never put myself in that position.
This discussion reminds me of the 'Slower traffic keep right" discussions. Some people belive that as long as they are doing the speed limit they can stay in the left lane. Their thought is they are making the road safer keeping traffic speeds down. I wonder if there is any correlation between those drivers and the ones that believe lane staddling in construction sites is a good idea??
