Oh wait we are talking about the general public, nevermind.
At many merge points these days there are signs stating to use both lanes to the merge point. The problem is the people in the lane that continues on frequently won't let cars in the ending lane merge over at the merge point. Too many drivers still have the mentality that those who stay in the ending lane to the merge point are cheating.
