East of the Delaware Water Gap on I-80 things get pretty hectic. The closer to NYC you get, the higher the average speed gets. I don't do 80 in my RV, but if I set my cruise at 80 MPH in my car and chill in the right lane I have traffic passing me like I'm parked. Gawd forbid you're only doing 80 in the left lane. Naturally this phenomenon is day and time specific, but it's common during non-rush-hour times. I've blasted by troopers sitting in the median going 80 and they don't even budge (knocking on wood...)
