Not my thing but it worked and I still have his blue paint on MY tools to this day, so now I can identify my tools :B
We painted our lawn tools up from the base to the middle with orange paint as the neighbor was always "borrowing" and forgetting to return, then considered it his.
That way if we saw our tools over in his yard, we would say "hey Bill, I see you still have my (rake or whatever) .. can I have it back now?"
Took care of his "borrowing to keep".
