Crossville TN RV storage

We are buying some retirement land close to Crossville TN and will be spending a lot of time there in the RV until the house is built.
Any suggestions on where we can store the RV for a reasonable price?
35 foot Class A.
  • :h Didn't get the scenario. You want to camp or store the RV and live elsewhere while house is being built?

The Bean Pot is kinda the locally accepted campground.

Uh, if you wanna hear some nasty noisy pick ups and hooping and hollering, try Walley's on a Friday night :B
  • Much better RV parks than Bean Pot.
Spring Lake just a little further up the road.
    Very nice KOA.

If you just want to store it. There are several places in town of Crossville.
Just for storing RV and other items.
  • Spring Lake stores some RV.s.
There are a bunch of storage places in town. Some under open roof. (No walls)
  • x3 on Spring Lake. No inside storage though. I looked for inside storage just outside of Crossville a while ago, then gave up and built my own garage.
  • Thanks. We will be making multiple trips to the property until the house is built and thought it would be easier to leave the RV there instead of making 1,200 mile trips (each way) back in forth. Easier to leave the RV there and run back and forth in the car or truck.

PS: Think it might be more cost effective to just leave the RV with us. I did get some price quotes and most are 250-350 per month. I only pay $25 a month here at the local air force base so think I'll just leave it here.
  • Put on a site. Use it when your here building.

    Where in Crossville you building?
We are in the Gardens RV Village.
  • Given the "rig" you have, I would not recommend just leaving it unprotected on your undeveloped property. With regard to storage, I would also check the Cookville area. It's a larger town, is only 25 miles West of Crossville, and there is a straight shot(TN-62)across to the area where you are building. You might find something less expensive between Lebanon, Cookville and Crossville. When you get here, be sure to check out the Tennessee Good Sam web site "tngoodsam.com" and find a local Good Sam Chapter to camp with. They will help you familiarize yourself with the area and better enjoy your camping experiences, as there is a lot to do and see here in Tennessee.
