Some folks know how to do it right. Some years back my wife showed a fellow camper an "up close and personal" photo of a bear and cub she took at Cade's Cove in the Great Smokey's. She then was treated to a 5-minute tirade about how stupid she was to put her life at risk just get a picture along with a list of all dreadful things that could have happened to her. My wife waited patiently until he finally ran out of stream and then said just two words: "Zoom lens"... :)

OK, she was not social distancing. But was she wearing a mask?

It's remarkable that she made it to 72 before finally reaching the boundaries of her own common sense.

I'm sure it's tragic for her family nevertheless.

The law of tonnage wins every time. Stupidity helps too.

The many years we lived in Livingston and would take a drive through the Park we saw some really STUPID decisions.

I know a number of animals who should drive to Yellowstone ... and get up closer to take pics.

This sort of thing happens all the time. Some people seem to think Yellowstone is a petting zoo.
