EV's aren't the end of the world - the Ford Transit EV cargo van has an 85KWh battery pack, that's around $10 worth of electricity to charge it. A big RV with electric water heater and a couple big A/C's can use that much power in a few days.
Sylvan Lake, for example, charges $15/night for non-electric tent sites, and $30/night for electric hookups.
Worse case they can charge a surcharge for EV charging.
