So why is louder and red so much more acceptable? Why aren't the people using the twin reds not being jumped on for not using the quieter EU3000is? I guess expensive noise is just more acceptable. Maybe having your nose in the air changes the angle of the ears and that makes it quieter. lol
The 3000 won't run what 2 2ks will. Expensive noise is slightly less annoying at full throttle, and when the a/c is off, we know we're going to get much quieter than the open-frames running full bore all the time. It's really not very common to see inverter gens running at full throttle for very long. I won't comment on the nose in the air.
It's good for me if I do my best to avoid being within earshot of any open-frames because complaining is going to get me nowhere. I'll try to be happy for them that they saved a few hundred dollars.
