Just looking for your thoughts on private Campgrounds that charge a Daily Visitor fee. I know they can do and charge whatever they want but as campers, what do you think of this? We rarely have outsid...

We will be seasonals for the first time at a county park next summer. They have a day use fee per vehicle of $5 or you can buy a season pass for $40 .My daughter,son-in-law and kids will come often. We will get them a vehicle pass. They seasonal in the adjoining county and we will need the $40 pass for our vehicle in BOTH counties. We are now at $120 then there are brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, adult grandchildren and their families. This county will be making a lot of money off from us and/or our visitors. We are full-time and haven't been home for the entire summer with our rv in several years. Even if they each visit one time it will be very expensive. There are no swimming or other recreation areas the families will use. Just be at our site and cookout or hangout for while. If there was a swimming pool, video arcade, boating etc the fee would be more explainable. There isn't a lot of choice in the area, so we have to go with what's there. The place with hookups where our rig will fit.
