Damage to RV while in storage by Rodents
This is the second time our RV has been brought out of service by rodents and other animals (ie:rabbits)... any suggestions while it's in storage to stop this?

~- Sounds like mice or ground squirrels, my suggestion is the oils mentioned or moth balls. The latter would need to be removed prior to driving though.

Not sure if it was the rabbit who has been banned from the engine compartment or ground squirrels, but they took out the brake wiring harness and this time was the accelerator wire harness....Seems they like the harnesses? - Peanut butter on an armed mouse trap is 100% effective. My current record is 20 minutes from the time we set the trap till we were dumping the thief in the garbage.
- I've heard that you have to make sure the heater/ac vents are in the closed/off position.
- two things. fresh kab,,and peppermint oil. two boats two rv,s sit in a pole bldg, no mice 5 yrs.
- Rabbits are mammals. Just saying...
- Peppermint oil is suppose to be the best thing to repel rodents. Not sure about wabbitts.
