Example: I purchased a new hunting rifle. The manual has a disclaimer stating that this rife can cause bodily harm or death if handled incorrectly. If I slipped while climbing over a fence with a loaded rifle and shot myself in the leg, it would do me no good to sue the manufacture of the firearm. If while firing this rifle in an appropriate manner as described in the owner’s manual and it blew up due to a defect that was made during the manufacturing process, I could sue the manufacture for their negligence. Point: rules / disclaimers can be applied to all parties involved.
Mort responsible RV campgrounds provide services and amenities for their patrons with an implied message that accidents do happen occasionally from circumstances beyond their control. It is up to us as RVers to not utilized those CGs that give us the feeling that something “BAD” will likely happen if I stay here. It is up to the CG owners to choose who they allow to utilize their facilities. If an RVer looks like a “problem” that CG owner has the right to choose not to rent this person a site.
Go RVing. Have a good time. Be a responsible RVer who is accountable for his/her own actions and be conscious of all your surroundings and make your own safety an ongoing priority. Being courteous, respectful and friendly while having a positive attitude and treating others as you wish to be treated will go a long way toward making camping a wonderful experience for everyone.
