Watch for poison ivy in TN. Anyone who thinks it's not dangerous has never had a good dose of it.
Wasps, bees, etc. are the usual. Especially big red wasps and bumblebees and hornets.
Plus rattlesnakes, water moccasins, copperheads, black bears (mainly dangerous if you get between them and their food or young) and in a few places, feral hogs.
Oh yeah... forgot the fire ants.
