Here here. Well said. New tech features are beginning to grow on me though, but they’re not a necessity and certainly if it’s something to complain about then just resist the urge to purchase it. Trailer tpms, never had it. Probably have some trailer hooked to the truck avg several times a month every month over the years. From local construction work to x country trips.
Backup cam? I have 2 vehicles with it and it’s nice for booking trailers and once you back into a parking spot, being able to get close to whatever is behind you without guessing. Keeps from using the trailer hitch as a poor mans backup sensor, lol!
GPS, it’s in the dash or in my phone. Never seen a need to mount a phone or gps.
Performance displays or additional gauges. I have these on the diesels. Either pillar mount gauges or one small display, like an Edge or Bullydog. This provides mo power so worth it to me.
