I stand corrected.
The (TRB)Transportation Research Board is a federaly funded organization.
Their report concluded that; " Nearly every study and crash analysis had some experimental or analysis flaw. In many cases the flaw in the analysis was because of the lack of a proper control group, which would allow a valid comparison of the observed changes."
That statement tends to nix all of the other studies.
Maybe it's a conspiracy. :E
