dead battery - Prodigy P2 flashing between "nc" and "c"

Yes, the controller "appears" to be working correctly again.

The question is, is it really?

Is it ok, or is it a ticking time-bomb that's waiting to go up in a cloud of smoke the second a small child darts out into the road in front of me while I've got 7 tons in back?
