Stay off of Dealer lots!! Period. I don't think 1 in 10 RV buyers ever really have the great experience that they should have when spending their hard earned cash. Keep your $250.00 and move on. Service Managers in most of those places are of similar disposition as the guy you ran into. Overworked, underpaid, not all that knowledgeable and further more can't even remember you or the unit you bought. Plus the sales guy you dealt with doesn't know you anymore. He has moved on to the next unit and buyer and you will have to as well.
Rv dealers and builders for the most part have no idea of how to give good service. There are exceptions but few and far between.
