I do all my big purchases such as vehicles, RV's, boats, etc. as out-the-door price. I will even tell the dealer that I don't really care what they put in each column or what they call something as long as I'm happy with the final price I have to pay. The only exception is if I trade a vehicle on another, because the amount they credit for the trade can affect the taxes. In that case I will pay more attention to it.
