Dealer you like in central Florida?

It is starting to look like we will be shopping for our third rig in the next year. We bought our first two rigs while living in the northeast and now that we live in Florida it does look like there are a lot more dealers near by.

Still... I remember what a terrible time I had with dealers on the last two purchases. Both times we tried to work with someone local, and both times we ended up buying from an on-line dealer out of state. As much as I'd really like a local dealer who could do a deal on a new rig and take our current rig in trade... I'm not exactly sure how much more I am willing to pay for that. I'm also not interested in being subjected to sales tactics again.

So with all that said... has anyone had a good experience with a Florida dealer? We will be looking for a Class C or a Class A and what we will spend will depend on what we can get for the rig we have now. I'm starting the process of fixing the broken stuff and cleaning up the toyhauler and the Volvo and will likely sell the Volvo privately - but if we could find a good dealer the process might go faster and easier doing a trade.

Alliance Coach in Wildwood. Just got our unit in Dec and couldn't have had a better deal and service.

220 miles from Orlando... so it's a bit north of central. If they do web sales I might peek at them.

I think you need to check your mile information?

I purchased my current trailer from them and I was impressed with the PDI they did on the trailer before we signed the papers. The mechanic showed me the list they use and it was extensive.

  • I and several of my friends have had very good experiences at LazyDays in Tampa.
  • Try Independence RV in Winter Garden just west of Orlando, my pick also for Alliance Coach in Wildwood only about 60 miles from Orlando not 220.
  • Alliance Coach x2. They have an RV park you can stay in while you look. We had some service done there and were really impressed.

  • I had a good experiance with La Mesa RV, they have moved to Sarasota now.
  • We bought are current fifth wheel from Orland RV. It was pleasure working with them. We live in Crystal River about 90 miles away, had a couple of items that needed attention. They arranged for a mobile rv repair to take care of the warranty issues. Would use them again.
