There are too many people that bring campers with generators to sports events like this that have no idea of the dangers of carbom monoxide. When I complane I have had people tell me that "It doesn't smell that bad" or "Its a deisel it won't hurt you." It sometimes leads to people getting ejected from the camp grounds.
I had that happen to me at a track, but I think the incident that made me the most mad was when I was staying at a motel. I woke early one very cold morning coughing, with the smell of exhaust in the room. Some idiot who had been parked across the parking lot had started his truck, backed up to the front of my room and left it idle while he went back to his room. The exhaust was going right into the air handler under the window. I waited about ten minutes for the guy to return, then went to the motel office to complain. During this time the guy slipped out (probably a good thing). I should have called 911.
