We got into it with the thought of doing 3 or 4 concentrated seasons of traveling the US & Canada then going back to fulltime at home in Bermuda with the overnight boating during the summer weekends.
Well, life did not work out that way. Here we are 9 years later still going strong. Most years over 150 nights on the road. The only trend is staying in one place a little longer instead of just a few days. All of the states & most provinces have been covered multiple times. Roads traveled on a map look like some demented spiders web across the land.
Can't imagine doing this without the DW. As long as health & finances hold up there are always new things to see & people to meet even if we have been there before.
There is no desire to do any regulated tours in some far away lands. Besides, a day doing such a trip costs more than a week in our own rolling home.
