Some things you can't get out of your blood. I still consider myself a boater first & an RVer second though we have not done any overnight boating, on our own boat, since we got the 5er.
Between 1981 & 2006 we did something like 800 overnights on the water spread across owning 3 boats. Non at a marina. All at anchor. Dry camping marine style. From 2007 to this year we have something like 1400 nights in the 5er.
Still have the 32' boat. Still lurk on a couple of boating forums. Maybe someday we will get back to it though I can't see doing the 40 night a year use again. Maybe downsize to a 27 or 28'er with the comforts of a popup good the the odd night here & there.
We all go through phases in life. No regrets on the boats, each was suitable for the needs at the time, or the 5er.
