Deep Cycle Charge Voltage
Anyone know what the correct charging voltage for 12v Deep Cycle batteries is please? My solar charger has 2 settings for deep cycle flooded: 14.6v and 14.7v. Thanks in advance for your help LE

Backwards! It is FLAs that not only tolerate, but REQUIRE higher volts. There is that stirring procedure and some say 15V is necessary to fully charge.
Do not stir AGM or Gel.
AGMs like higher current. Can't say re Gels.
Also, a fully charged AGM will be 12.8+ at rest. FLAs are 12.6+ by comparison.

X2, That is really wierd if that is the only 2 settings as normally would see something like 14.4 to 14.8 for FLA and 14.2 or less for AGMs. Unless that voltage range you quote is a misprint I would very leary of that controlller. Does it have a float stage and what is that voltage?
