I went to the lumber yard and bought a bunch of 2X4 precut studs. When I got home I found out they were only 1.5 x 3.5 and 3" short. Someone must have bought the 2X4 but only needed .5 shims so they cut .5" off and 3" off one end then returned the boards. I was robbed.
