Yes 2 cracked wheels is either abuse or poor quality. Hard to say, idk what you hit with your trailer. I’ve come home with bent trailer rims before. It happens.
No, foam won’t keep your springs from working. I’ve wore trough plywood floors before with trailer tires rubbing the floor in bumps.
Yes a lot of trailer tires are cheapppp.
