Denali 268fb
We purchased a new Dutchmen 268 FB Denali in Jan 2014, it was last years model but brand new. My biggest problem is that the first rain storm we went threw flooded the inside of the trailer due to what I believe is a design flaw with the slide. The other major problem is that the furnace cycles on over temp.
Both of these issues have meant that the trailer has been sitting at the dealers yard for several months, It has been very difficult to get these problems fixed and I am quite disappointed in the poor quality control that this trailer displays. I would recommend to anyone with a Dutchmen Denali trailer to check for these problems I mentioned. The furnace problem is the most serious as I was told that a furnace cycling on overtemp was not a big issue which Is absolutely ridiculous. If anyone owns one of these trailers and the flame in the furnace cuts in and out while the blower fan continues to run should get it repaired as this indicate the furnace is overheating the heat exchanger and could eventually cause carbon monoxide to enter the trailer. My furnace needs more outlets which is what the dealer is finally looking at.
