Dental care prices, USA vs Mexico?
So I went to the dentist yesterday, and they want me back next week. Total cost for xrays, exam, cleaning, and 3 fillings will be $850. 2 of the fillings are $95 and the 3rd is $284 or something....

You will likely get lots of replies to this, many telling you that they wouldn't dare get medical/dental care in Mexico, but our experience was only positive. (And FWIW, we've had crummy dental care in the US, so it's not a country-specific problem.)
My husband needed (what was quoted to be) $10k in dental procedures in the US, which we absolutely did not have. We live in the PNW but it was worth it to him to fly to San Diego and go to Tijuana for dental care. I think the total cost ended up being about $2500. He would absolutely do it again.
