Dental care prices, USA vs Mexico?
So I went to the dentist yesterday, and they want me back next week. Total cost for xrays, exam, cleaning, and 3 fillings will be $850. 2 of the fillings are $95 and the 3rd is $284 or something....

From my experience with the dentists in Progresso, the cost is about 1/3 of what you would pay in the states. I have had extensive dental work done, root canals, crowns, and bridges in Mexico and have no problems. But I suggest that you get personal recommendations on a dentist. It is just like in the States, there are some that are not as good as others. The one that I use has better technology that the one I used to go to in the States and he is a graduate of a US dental college. Since we don't have dental insurance, it was a no brainer to look for a dentist in Mexico.
