Deposit fee for dogs
Just looked at the website of a RV park & it showed a $25 deposit pet fee. What would this cover? Unless one didn't pick up after their pet, or if a dog dug holes, what other damage could a dop do if ...

We paid thousands for a membership in a CG and they never enforce their dog leash rule. No signs or reminders when you sign in for dog related rules. Our dog got attacked by an off-leash bulldog. Nothing changed after reporting it. Someone DW knows at work had his family jewels chomped at by a bulldog in the same CG and ended up in the hospital and needed stitches. Nothing changed, despite cops attending. We have reported off-leash dogs numerous times. Nothing changes. We now carry bear spray with us in the CG when walking our dog. Don't know how well it will work though. We won't hesitate to call the cops from now on if warranted.
If a CG wants to charge a deposit, they should tell you what it's for. I'd sure want to know what it's for to see if they are actually doing anything with the deposits they collect. Are they going to keep your deposit if you don't follow some rule?
I wish I could charge our CG a deposit every time we take our dog there and keep it if we find an off-leash dog or get attacked by one.
