Deposit fee for dogs

We are now in a high end resort that has gone to the dogs. I would welcome a big fine for dog owners. Something needs to wake most of them up. No problems they should get the money back as they sign out.

It's always something.
We travel with 3 small dogs, it's a main reason for having the motorhome. We're very responsible dog owners. Through no fault of our own, now we have to appropriate more money. Dirty rotten dog owners.....:B

Just the opposite here, I've been bothered more by screaming yelling kids, cutting through my site,(once right under my awning) than by anyone's pet. Why don't we charge a per child fee, or a deposit for kids, if your kids are quiet & well behaved, you get your deposit back.
Yes, I could go to a +55 campground, but they seem too far & too few.

Exactly. The only ones who should be concerned about this deposit would be the irresponsible ones. Now that I think of it, I believe Jolly Roger had that kind of deposit when we stayed there.

I think responsible pet owners would not have a problem with this if they think about it.
I am sure it bothers them (even more than non pet owners) how "irresponsible" pet owners screw it up for all pet owners...:h

I was at Canova beach (Florida) yesterday.
They ALLOW dogs on a section of this beach but there are signs marking the limits.
Of course several entitled people take their dogs out of bounds amongst the beach goers.
As a pet owner doesn't this really pi$$ u off as may lead to "No dogs ever" on beach.

A deposit - yes I would do that as we are responsible owners and I know I'd get my deposit back. A charge just because you have a dog I will not pay. I just find another park to stay at.

Have come across a few CGs that required a pet deposit.
Didn't think it was an issue or outlandish requirement.
Got deposit back each time.

Came across a few CGs that had weight limits.....ours was over limit.
No big deal.......used another CG
