LOL I agree. so what designer put the push out near the door, but put the slide one in a situation where it wouldn't matter?
Best I can say is engineering.
Is that spot between supports? Is that spot only with a XX inch window and that is what all could fit and the slide doesn't come in that size?
I don't know :)
I know when they build these things we think convenience and not much of the true engineering side of it all.
