Dexter axle Brakes
I have a trailer with dexter axles with 12X2 brakes. (I believe they are 6,200 pound axles???, they are on 10,000 pound registered trailer with upgraded axles) I just spent 1700 dollars at camping ...

They do not have a self adjuster, just an adjuster and they were way out of adjustment, but one of their attempts to get them to work was to jack the trailer up and adjust them up.
Still no good.
There was a decal on the old backing plates that said left and right, I do not know about the new ones, but they do not work in reverse either.
I drove around their parking lot (the size of a football field) with an automobile battery hooked directly to the feed to the brakes and then back it back into their shop, could not tell the brakes were on.
