Dexter axle Brakes
I have a trailer with dexter axles with 12X2 brakes. (I believe they are 6,200 pound axles???, they are on 10,000 pound registered trailer with upgraded axles) I just spent 1700 dollars at camping ...

If you have not done this yet go to Harbor Freight. They have marine grade heat shrink tubing. It has a sealant that makes the connection water proof.
I will not use Harbor Freight, all Chinese junk.
You are correct you need the heat shrink with sealant, which I have and use.
