Hi Guys, I'm assuming you where commenting on my pictures. Yes/No?
Equaflex make 2 kinds, a lighter weight one and a large one. The one above is the large unit which is over rated for my TT. Technically the smaller one was rated enough but I did not like the looks of it and the size was not right for my application. I talked to Mobile Outfitters (the Lippert division who sells them) and they did not have a problem with me using the larger one.
I know about the rust deal and fully agree with that. I'm going to need to treat mine. The tear out, this is the 1st I hear of this.
If you look here, this is the orig Alko rigid equalizer which came out of mine. The Dexter rigid one is a different shape but the ends are as thin. NOTE: This is the smaller EZ flex in the background, not the larger EZ flex I show above. I have all 3....
I'm not doubting the Equaflex failure, however there may be more to it then the thickness. Bad casting?
Thanks for the heads up. I will start hunting.

The one on the bottom of the first pictures have been known to rip out. There has been pictures on this and other forums about it.
Please explain. Could you supply a link?
Did a LITTLE digging but did not find any pictures of the Equaflex failure but if you look at the thickness of the top of the bolt holes
you will see that they are much thinner than the EZ Flex.

I believe you're correct: I seem to remember someone posting pictures of their Equaflex that has rusted badly and separated at the bolt hole.
