Also, don't know if you got totally taken paying $15k. So it really doesn't show us much of anything.
Well a look at the picture tells me Pre 98.5 as no rear doors on the Quad Cab so a 12 valve all mechanical Cummins engine. That and the body looks very good, assume the running gear is also in good condition.
As far as the cost of fuel, diesels get better mileage, in many cases far better.
I had two 460 cu in Ford F250s best mileage 10 mpg, current Cummins 20+ mpg empty on highway, and about 14 mpg pulling a 7k empty GN 30’ four horse trailer.
