It looks as if the current price,at Pilot/flying J's in Oregon on I-5,is 3.59 plus .30 tax or 3.89 a gallon and the price at Tumwater,Wa is 3.79. I think I'll get fuel in Oregon at Eugene on the way down and then hit the one in Wa on the way home.
We're headed for Florence and it's 700 r/t. So if I top off at Tumwater on the way down,65 miles,I should be able to do the whole trip on 1 tank and fill it there when I come home. That's figgering a 100 gallon tank at 7.5. I applied for a Good Sam fuel card and that's .08 a gallon discount and the .10 difference makes it .18 a gallon difference,so on about 90 gallons or about $16 off of a bill of around $360.
I drive a school bus part-time to pay for my trips and that'll be about 40 hours for fuel and campsite.Who cares tho, anything to do a road trip.
