Different 30 amp plugs

Alright I have two Powerhouse 2100 generators with the parallel kit. The parallel kit has an inlet with 3 prongs, one of which being a round ground. My 50 amp to 30 amp dogbone has three prongs all being flat, the twist lock style. Would there by any problem with buying a male plug the same format as the parallel kit and putting that onto a new dogbone convertor?
  • You should be looking to get a standard genset adapter such as one of these from Marinco or Camco. Look closely at your parrallel kit and it should have a NEMA number that should correspond to the ones from Marinco or Camco.
